For Those Who Want to Experience Beauty Services at a Japanese Hair Salon
Column by jojo
Welcome to Tokyo!
We’re artifata, a hair salon based in Tokyo since 2000.
Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of serving not only Japanese clients, but also many visitors from overseas. Some travel all the way just for our stylists, and others make artifata a regular stop whenever they visit Japan.
If you’re curious about getting a haircut, hair color, or straight perm at a Japanese salon—if you want to experience the high level of skill and hospitality Japan is known for—we warmly invite you to visit our salon.
Our staff is friendly and welcoming, so please don’t feel nervous. We look forward to seeing you!

Menu & Price
You can find our English menu and price list here.
If you’re not looking for a dramatic style change, we recommend a head spa or hair treatment for a relaxing experience.
If you’d like to refresh your hair before dinner—especially after a long day of walking and sweating—a shampoo & blow-dry is a great option.
Not sure what to choose? Let our stylists take care of everything with our “OMAKASE” (leave-it-to-us) option. Just let us know your budget and available time when making your reservation.

How to Make a Reservation & What to Expect on the Day
• If you can speak Japanese, please call us during business hours to make your reservation.
We recommend booking at least one day in advance, but same-day appointments may be available depending on our schedule. (Weekends tend to be fully booked, but weekdays are more flexible.)
☎️ 03-3470-0688 (Please check our business hours below.)
• If you only speak English, feel free to DM us on Instagram to make a reservation.

• On the day of your appointment, please arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be automatically canceled.
• Our stylists will do their best to speak English, but please note that their English is limited.
If you have a specific haircut or color in mind, bringing reference photos is very helpful and makes communication much smoother.
• We accept various payment methods, but some credit cards issued outside Japan may not work properly.
For this reason, we recommend bringing cash just in case.
